Overview
At JETORCA, I collaborated with APERO Artist Collection on the documentary film "Catching The Color," featuring master plein air artist W. Jason Situ. This project was a labor of love, crafted by a close-knit team dedicated to capturing Jason's artistic process, expression, and community connections, while honoring his foundational roots. Our vision was to create a contemporary documentary that resonates with both artists and art enthusiasts alike. We strategically timed our filming to coincide with the California Art Club's Signature Art Exhibit at the historic Hilbert Museum in downtown Orange, California. In post-production, we infused warmth and inclusivity into every aspect of the film, resulting in a campaign that not only exceeded our expectations but also deeply resonated with artists, galleries, and the wider community, sharing the inspiring journey of W. Jason Situ in the arts.
